Rules and Regulations (Little champs)

1. 04/12/2025 is the Last date for entries/Registrations.

2. Spot registrations will not be entertained.

3. For entries, player’s name & phone number (Player or Parent) is compulsory.

4. For doubles, partners name and phone number (Player or Parent) is mandatory.

5. Registration for the tournament is by online only.

6. Players should strictly maintain tennis attire for playing matches. i.e T-shirt, Shorts and non- marking shoes.

7. Matches can be organised on any surfaces. i.e clay & synthetic courts.

8. Players arriving late for their respective match will be treated as walk-over.

9. Dunlop or any ITF approved balls will be used. For under 10 green dot balls will be used.

10. Matches will start on 6th December 7am.

11. A players qualifying age will be with respect to AITA rules.

12. Organisers have all the rights to demand Aadhaar card as age proof.

13. Referees and organisers decision will be final.

14. Players and Parents kindly adhere to Organisers/ Referees decision.

Rules & Regulations (seniors)

1. 09/12/2025 is the Last date for Registrations.

2. Spot registrations will not be entertained strictly.

3. For registrations, player’s name & phone number is compulsory. For doubles, partners name and their phone number is mandatory.

4. Coaches, markers and professional tournament players should participate only in Open categories.

5. This is an invitational tournament, first time participants for Davanagere Open Tournament 2025 must speak to organisers before registration.

6. A player can participate in maximum 3 events only.

1 Singles and 2 Doubles OR 2 singles and 1 Doubles

Events:

Open Singles and doubles

35+ Singles and doubles

45+ Singles and doubles

55+ Singles and doubles

65+ Singles and doubles

70+ doubles only

7. Players should strictly maintain tennis attire for playing matches. i.e. T-shirt, Shorts and non- marking shoes.

8. Matches can be organised on any surfaces. i.e. clay & synthetic courts.

9. Players arriving late for their respective match will be treated as walk-over.

10. Dunlop AO or any ITF approved balls will be used for the entire tournament.

11. a. Open category singles and doubles matches will start on 12th December only.

b.35+, 45+, 55+, 65+ category singles will start on 12th December.

12. A players qualifying age with respect to date of birth as on 12/12/2025.

35+ on or before 12/12/1990

45+ on or before 12/12/1980

55+ on or before 12/12/1970

65+ on or before 12/12/1960

70+ on or before 12/12/1955

13.⚡ Exciting Addition! Men’s 70+ Doubles only – Celebrate experience, skill & passion on court!

We need at least 8 teams, so encourage others to participate.

14. For all categories up to semi finals best of 11 games, single point deuce, 5 all normal tie breaker. Semifinals and finals best of 13 games.

15. Organisers have all the rights to demand document of age proof.

16. Referees and organisers decision will be final in case of any dispute.
